FUNDRAISING FRIVOLITY FEBRUARY 8

Guest Chef+Gaja Wines+Good Friends=  Great Event!

Long-time friend and fellow restaurateur (Salute, Settabello, La Dolce Vita), Raffaele Calise will be our guest chef for a very special fundraising dinner on February 8th.  Barely unpacked from his recent trip home to Italy, Raff will delight us with a Piedmontese inspired menu. 

 Papa Mitchell will pour double magnums of 1985, 1988 and 1989 Gaja from his private cellar for this pre-Valentine event.  Mitchelli's good friends and loyal customers are invited to join us on February 8th at 6 p.m. for a festive evening full of good spirits and much merrymaking.  Cost per person $90. Biondi - Santi Dinner with guest sommeliers, Robert Bonina and Dana Mitchell, features one of Tuscany's legendary wines.  Brunello di Montalcino "is picked very ripe in mid-October from long established vines and is supercharged with flavor, extract, tannin, acidity, and impact"!  A vertical tasting of 1977, 1978, 1979 and 1980 will be paired with simple complimentary food offerings.  An exceptional opportunity to taste "a wine for heroes, or rather heroic millionaires".  Cost $78 per person.  Reservations are limited, call Papa's private line 623-3888.
